Burns first appeared on the television industry in 1995, playing Peg the Spanish-American teenager in the sitcom Out of the Blue. Burns became a participant in Baywatch the action-drama show in 1998. In the following year she was a part of Baywatch: Hawaii. Burns was then forced to leave Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
